Description
"What do you mean by 'forbidden magic'?"I finally got to draw this thing I'm so happy ;_; Ibunduur the tall guy and Yiwoocha the tiny guy are my Guild Wars 2 characters, Wooch is a sylvari necromancer who mixes necromancy with plant shaping, Ibun is an orrian wizard who used to be human until he blew up his body during one of his obscure magical experiments. Hundreds years later Wooch found his soul and made a new body out of bones and plants for it to accomodate and they stayed together because of shared sense of morbid humor and other common interests like forbidden magic! Or the fact that both of their personalities aren't very welcomed by other people.
Sylvari belong to Arenanet, though I tend to modify them a lot :>

Dang your lines are so good? How did you get this watercolor/ink nib effect? Also I absolutely love the composition and the expressions!
Also! I love the scarf , it looks like tiny guy just straight up wrapped a leaf around himself!Β

Thank you ;v; my pencil lines are pretty dark so it's easy to turn them into this with few adjustments, the paper I draw on is slightly textured too and I usually put another low opacity watercolor texture on top of it, and the entire thing is basically colored from grayscale, which allows me being a bit messy with airbrush and have the actual colors flow into each other while still having the values okay. And it ends up looking like this! I've been meaning to make a process post for ages, it would help with explaining this a lot xD

That's so neat I never thought of coloring like that! I've been working on a piece that I've been so stuck on for ages, I think working in grayscale first might help me out! Dude I would love a progress post, it would be awesome to see the method you use! What program do you use?Β
