This is a nice tutorial! I hope it does me well xD
Question - When I use the gradient tool, the color somehow takes over the whole image and covers up the lineart even when its behind it. What am I suppose to do?

Question. I am curious why you chose to do this in Flash, as it is generally not used in this manor. Why not work in Illustrator? Just wondering what the perks where for using this software.

I spend most my time animating in flash so i just find it nicer to use. Id use illustartor if i knew how.

Really nice.
It's the same way I use to do kids artwork, but I used Illustrator for the keyline and PhotoShop for the colour. [link]

lol no, i dont mean that, (sorry my english is not 2 good ), for example when i vectorize, everything has to be made by pencil first
if i want 2 add something in "mid-vectorizing" i come back 2 the pencil and re-scann or so ..
welcome!

Wow this is so good! Your mastery of the Wacom is amazing. I've tried using it before and my drawings come out having jagged edges. Sigh... Anyway, good job! More Lashes?

EXCELLENT tutorial. We have a similar process, except I keep my lines - something I'm seriously considering dropping - and I tend to do my gradient work in photoshop.
Here's a question for you: do you use the brush tool for your final lines as well, or line tool? Or a combination of both? I ask because the Flash brush tool has been horrific for me as far as getting the lines I want from it.
