Spencer St. area again.The Replace Colour manipulation always ends up in some pixelation but I think it's worth it for the effect it has on the clouds.
I also increased the saturation/depth of the red.
Let me know what you think please (criticism or suggestions etc...I'm not sure about it)

Cheers, I'll keep it in mind.
It's just that this as well as 11 other shots I mounted on A2 sized sheets of aluminium, which became the borders..so I didn't think of adding one in Photoshop for the finished works. I could have added one for devart submission though you're right.

whoa my god, this is really scary - i took a picture almsot exactly like this just a few weeks ago
aaagh! all my friends were like, 'what are you doing?' and i said, 'umm, taking a photo coz i love these red things' and they were all like, 'ooooh...kayyy...' hehe
anyways, back to YOUR picture ... i think its wonderful... the composition is perfect, did you spend a while setting it up? The sky is great, its so wierd coz the ground looks so bright like there is sun, but the sky is cloudy... well done on the manipulation... but argh its just like normal bloody melbourne weather
Okay now im just randomly rambling on. I'll shut up now.

Didn't really spend long setting it up, it is handheld also, no tripod. Just waited for the right moment in terms of people milling about..

Yeah its coming along... interesting to see the difference stages of construction but I think its almost finished - certainly it will be before the Commonwealth games (this is just the bridge/walkway from the station to Telstra Dome btw).

The colors here are beautiful, i just wish the person wasn't quite so blurred. Other than that i really like this shot. The symmetry is great and like i said, the colors are very bright and vivd. Nice work!

yeah it would be good if the figure was in sharp focus, but i think the problem isn't so much that as the exposure on her
i have a version where i dodged the face but i guess this is mysterious

Once again, amazing composition, you really got this one spot on. Love the blur on the.. red thingies toward the end, really gives this alot of depth that I really haven't seen in much photography before.

Thanks for that...yeah I like to capture images that have a sense of calm/mellow to them, even if there's a lot going on (in terms of lines etc). But I hope there are other emotions you sense from my other shots.
