Description I did this back in 2000. I sent the original to Takeuchi-sensei with love, but before doing that I scanned it with my then new scanner. ^_^ This is the picture I made. I sent it to Tokyopop as part of a contest back then, but since I worked for the company, I got to recover my artwork, and send it to Takeuchi-sensei. Incidentally I also edited Volume 11 (without credit), and sent off the prize to the winners.

This was done in drawing ink, a whole lot of tracing paper, Crayola pencils, white drawing ink, white out and tons, and tons of patience. It took me a full 3 days to complete, if I remember right. It's one of my better ink controls that I've done. And yes, it was a pain to do. Copying Takeuchi-sensei's style with one hand holding a pencil, and another holding reference, composing it, using vast amounts of masking tape, and then tracing it back onto good watercolor paper (using transfer paper), I put tons of effort into this. It's still pretty decent for being that old. I don't know if I put in as much effort since. (Besides the poster that I did, but you can forget me posting that.)

Anyway, it's Eternal Sailor Moon at the Cauldron. All of her Senshi and Mamoru have been lost, and now she's invoking the powers of the Silver Moon Crystal, her Sailor Crystal. (as supposed to the Mabboroshi no Ginzuishou). She's thinking of them as she invokes the power.

It's done Manga style.
