Well the bastard is done!it took bloody forever, (laptop with no ram/vram + graphics work make laptop something something) but the bastard is bloody DONE, was made pretty much entirely in flash, then taken into Photoshop to do the text and put everything in frames and one or two other small effects, it is based off Final Fantasy XII and its simply HORRIFYING litany of sell able items, ranging from Toad Oil to "Putrid flesh" oh and "Zombie flesh"
what in gods green arse does anyone use that stuff for?!
ahem, anywho the comic was written mainly by my lovely wife, and was drawn by myself, down to every sword (spot the celebrity swords ^^)
and bow
as always any comments tips suggestions or just free onigiri (been hittin' the combinis lately, I think I'm hooked) would be Wonderful, and appreciated ^^

I'm playing FFVIII right now, and they've got some bizzare things you can steal too...not to mention, if you wanna get an item for specifics (say, building a weapon) you get five million other outrageous things along things along the way.
But I think the Maggoty Flesh you mentioned takes the cake...ewww.........

In answer to your rhetorical question, the decaying flesh of most undead fell creatures go to the invisible practionors of alchemy and 'dark magic' who reside in ivalice, or at least, that's what the item descriptions say...

Only problem is theyre all Union nowadays, you have lunch breaks, sick leave, and considering their lunch is brains and theyre as sick as can be (being dead) you barely get any work out of them

What I found really funny, is that you can steal wolf-pelts from still-living wolves. Somewhere, there is a pack of skinless wolves.

I like how some enemies give off 'Forbidden Flesh' as well, suggesting having the maggoty stuff is a-okay.

I think if you collect enough of it and have some Demon Eyeballs, Throat Wolf Blood and a Chimera Head it merges together and becomes a whole new monster.

I don't really think of it as being mean.. I mean the guy LIKES suffering, who else would wear a METAL I say again METAL bolero thing in a blizzard.. he must just be into things like that, him and fran both... I don't even want to imagine what it feels like to have a steel G-string in a blizzard..

well the comic will be themed on mine and my wife's life as western (Australian, specifically) gamers living in Japan (She got a scholarship and I'm freeloading^^)
as far as being notified as to when it comes out, well until the site is up and ready you'l just have to +watch my devart, not sure if I'm up to a regular one yet, though we have gotten five out in about two weeks so I'm fairly confident ^^
