Description
Here is an example I made of what you can do with this generator (including a sample of the results in the description): fav.me/d7fcg7q***UPDATE: I am no longer active on this account, so I'm not able to answer questions in a reasonable timeframe. If you can't figure out how to use this generator, that means you didn't read the following instructions. Also, if you have feedback or suggestions for improvements, please note me on my active account rainewhisper instead. Thank you!

How to use:
1. Download the file. You download files from DA by clicking the large green "DOWNLOAD" button which is located right below the FAVOURITE button. When you click this DOWNLOAD button, there will be a small window that pops up and prompts you to save the zipped file which contains the generator.
2. Open the zipped file. There are two files inside; the generator itself as an HTML document, and the readme as a text document. The readme contains the credits for all sources used as well as links to helpful tutorials and such, just for your convenience.
3. Fave if you like it; link back if you use it! I find generators very useful for character inspiration, and I’m sure many others do too. So don’t be shy; just make a link back to this page and fave it for good measure. (Heck, you can link back here even if you don’t use it!)
4. If you still have suggestions, let me know! I take suggestions for more features; even I cannot think of everything, although I sure do try! But before you make a suggestion, check out the Source Code (easily accessed using the shortcut CTRL+U in Firefox) and make sure I didn't already list it in an array. Also, since I am not active on this account, I would appreciate if you can note me on my active account rainewhisper .
Everything else you need to know is in the readme file.
Let me know any feedback you have on this! What do you like/dislike about it? What could I improve? Are there any options missing that would make it better? I'm all ears.

NOTE: This is a text-based description generator, not one of those dress-up games. Just thought I would clear that up, because I know some people are confused by the concept of a description generator.

I was just looking at it one day, wondering how it would be if I could just randomize how many of those little hexagons to fill and make up a totally new character by doing it. Then I realized I could do exactly that! Thus began my quest to create this very generator.

For the preview image, I just used the Courier New Bold font without the anti-aliasing and I copied Nepeta's horns from her official sprite. The horns were made by Hussie, and I do not claim ownership of trolls or of Homestuck.

Here's some things to revise this: This character is ACTUALLY very well done. But here's what I have.
1. You don't HAVE to stick to the canon rules. But if you do, light blue would have to fall under "teal" or "cerulean" which is where Terezi and Vriska fall. If you just want it to be original, then leave it.
2. Once again with canon rules (unless you just want to be fun with it and make it in an original way) it isn't possible to have a light blue sea dweller because they're in the middle blooded section. Indigo, Violet, and Fuchsia are the only possible bloodlines that can be that race.
3. It makes sense that you have a character that's humerous, but I'm confused. Do they find KILLING funny? Or just being funny.
4. Maybe for the god tier, you COULD try a rogue of life. Similar to Meenah, she takes the life from others to GIVE to others because of her fear of dying. Blood has to do with unity or kinship.
This is NOT saying your character sucks: Heck, every character can be reviewed for. Just some suggestions.

Hey i downloaded, read the instructions, however when i open the generator (on google chrome as thats the only option i get to open it) and it comes up with nothing but a page saying "error file not found", am i doing something wrong?

Thanks for the review! I appreciate your feedback. The Character Theme was the first option, and technically that's not a name. For instance, Sollux's theme is Gemini, which is expressed by his constant struggle/obsession with duality. "Harvest" can be interpreted multiple ways; perhaps this troll owns a farm, or maybe he likes to harvest souls, or he could be a daring businessman waiting to reap the harvest of his investments, or maybe aspects of his personality and hobbies are based on some Greek or Roman god of farming. It's an abstract word, with the intent that you fill in the blanks and draw your own connections.
Although I believe that Trollian handles, land names, and troll names are best made individually with thought and care, I have provided links to various generators in the readme that perform those functions. Could you possibly write what all possibilities are in values and goals? Ive been using this for my fantrolls, but i would like to add more to values and goals. And i noticed there were random possibilites in it like strong goal, mild fear and all c:

If you use Firefox, you can view all the variables in the generator by opening the HTML file and clicking CTRL+U, then using the CTRL+F search function to locate the array. For instance, I believe "FEATURES" is the array you're looking for. If you have any ideas for other motivations and such, please send me a note and I'll see about updating it.
