- so a thing that happens to all merfolk is that on full moons (usually called siren nights here) their predatory senses are heightened and they will “sing” (horrible screeching in reality) and anyone without proper hearing protection will become hypnotized and walk toward any body of water with sirens present, and will usually meet a terrible bloody demise. (The only ones unaffected by siren song are angels and demons, who will hear song and horrible screeching, respectively.)
- this of course, applies to hope, no matter what form he’s in. unlike merfolk who have not bonded with people on land, hope won’t attack his friends (unless he smells blood) however he’s not completely thereand can’t speak coherently, and cannot. stop. eating.
- after siren night ordeals he’s usually sick and has lots of headaches. his friends take care of him bc they r good friends
