Description
It's worth so much.I think I'm getting a hand of digital painting again! I like how with bigger pieces you learn something while you work on it. And I've learned to even like that frustrating feeling when you're 'just not getting this one thing right aaRG'Β because it means you evolve somehow. Meaning you don't give up, that is.

βPeople," Geralt turned his head, "like to invent monsters and monstrosities. Then they seem less monstrous themselves. When they get blind-drunk, cheat, steal, beat their wives, starve an old woman, when they kill a trapped fox with an axe or riddle the last existing unicorn with arrows, they like to think that the Bane entering cottages at daybreak is more monstrous than they are. They feel better then. They find it easier to live.βΒ

I like how you added the goat hooves, with the hair there. And the lion tail. There are so many unicorn drawings these days with horse tails. And this is just beautiful. Now that I look at this again, I noticed the scary detail (the footprints) You definitely caught the elegance and beauty of the unicorn.

im saying that, i hate humans, people, because they would most defiantly do this, this is why elephants and rhinos are becoming endangered

Makes me wonder if we did discover unicorns, how fast would some people walk over each other to kill them for their horns???

id like to think that unicorns' horns are linked with their brains so they can directly produce magic from them.so in that sense,, tearing out its horn would kill them because of blood loss

Some people actually kill the rhino for the horn, so it does make sense. Although it would be 'safer' to tranquilize them.

I'm thinking they shot it first to catch it. But I didn't want to paint the bulletwound on this side because it would've probably taken attention away from the horn.

you cut into the rhino's head for the whole horn and it must be the same with unicorns

Humans sometimes can't control their greed... and they take and destroy what is beautiful, priceless and irreplaceable.

I need to learn how to like the frustrating feeling you're talking about. :< This is beautiful and inspiring though, even though it's sad. Reminds me of poached Rhino horns.
