A big tool that some artists forget to use is "Reference" be it other artwork, magazines, google, yourself. When you don't know how to draw something the best thing is to find reference or even pose it out your self. This specific tutorial I made for an artist who needed help drawing hands in a certain angle. I break down my process and mentality to achieve the right pose.* By no means is using reference cheating, I use to have this stigma of wanting to only draw from my imagination but how am I suppose to draw something when I have no idea how it looks.

Oh my gosh I first taught that you've used the wrong hand... then I realized that the hand and the upper arm (that we can see) are not connected xD

Hahaha! That was honestly the first thing that went through my mind while drawing it. I wanted to stay to true to what the person who needed help had the character doing.
