Finished! Long after I wanted it to be so, but IRL things kept this from going up sooner. So... from this WIP comes the finished scene! Not too hard to guess who would be in this, though there's an entire boxing café of fighting girls who wear the same kind of outfit... Now you know which one! Because this piece is a continuation 'Baker-Boxer and Big Evening Problem!'

Kanata's 'Baker's Time' has popped up at... well, the right time and Tamao's getting a serving of black leather for her too-fast for herself troubles... Let's continue on, shall we?

It might be a Tuesday afternoon at the Boxing Glove Bakery & Café, but at this time when the sun’s inching its way down the skyline, it sounds more like Saturday night.

Leaving the lead boxing coach Daimori Teruko to her comfy chair in her office, the gaggle of boxing girls streamed across the street and into the lively café, where the leather-bound action inside the ring was as intense as an HBO title fight… with slightly different stakes on the line.

The gym girls watched in awe of the two heralded fighting ladies going back and forth inside the ring, with the Boss-Lady of the place having absorbed quite a torrent of punishment from her smaller, silver-haired opposition.

“W-Whoa! She’s still standing after that! How long have they been going at it??” One girl wondered aloud – hardly able to hear herself.

Kamiko looked up at the monitors hanging above and surrounding the ring area. There aren’t any rounds in these ‘knockdown’ challenges, only a record of how much time it takes to get one of the competitors to drop to their knees first.

“T-Twenty eight minutes?? They’re really putting on a show today. I wonder what’s gotten those two so riled up that they’re going all out for so long?” Kamiko called out.

“Isn’t this one of those occasions where Takizawa-sensei’s put a challenge out for an urgent business reason? Can’t be for a lack of attendance. We can hardly move in here,”

Tama, one of the girls Kamiko is club mates with at their school’s boxing club scratched her head.

“I’m fine with it, as long as I get to be squished against you, Tama-chi,” the soft-spoken Yura cuddled up against Tama’s shoulder.

“J-Just watch the fight!!” Tama protested, blushing a little.

Indeed, they were going all out and it was a rather back and forth session from the start. Given that an extra body on the café floor was on the line to make her job easier on Thursday night, Kanata was going all out against the formidable sting and speed that Tamao Silver brings to the ring.

She had weathered an early pounding that put her both against the ropes and later in the corner for an extended period – one that would’ve floored lesser girls, but to answer the relentless peppering the Bunny gave her, Kanata’s toughness answered back, refusing to go down.

Tamao was almost felled five minutes later after a hammering counter hook slapped the Bunny’s face hard, staggering her back several steps. That gave the Baker-Boxer her first big chance to pepper the sturdy speedster’s body in her own corner for a few moments before a clinch put an end to the flurry.

“Y-You’re hitting plus fort than the other times,” Tamao mumbled through the clinch.

“Isn’t that what I tell you every time??” Kanata replied.

On they went, to the delight of the growing crowds of patrons and the fervent cheers of the waitresses, split evenly between their Boss-Lady and their fandom supporting the Energizer Bunny.

Even with the most powerful blows and striking combinations, neither girl was about to give things up.

G-Gotta keep it together and make sure she works here on Thursday night!

Kanata kept motivating herself each time she was in a pickle and wobbled for a moment by Tamao’s furious retaliation.

T-That luxurious cake… atashi no mono da!

Tamao thought to herself with every hard push against Kanata’s well-timed counters.

Minutes go by, with only short intervals of attentive study between the two combatting girls interrupting the furious poundings of leather against body. Unknown to them, the café had filled up to capacity with people looking from the outside and several people posting the occasion on Twitter. Things travel fast even when there’s impromptu fights going on at the Glove.

Kamiko could hardly contain her excitement at witnessing this bout. It’s the kind of thing she’s dreamed of doing herself since becoming part of the boxing club and being coached by Jura.

I so wanna… wanna do that, too!

“I-I need an Iced Cap!” Kamiko yelled out, excited by the action in the ring.

“Here you are,” A calm, monotone voice replied.

“Uaahh!!” Kamiko yelped, startled.

She looked to her right and lo; there was an Iced Cap…

“I-I meant an actual Iced Cap! I don’t want to fight you!” She replied.

MIKI extended her hand out to offer her exactly what she wanted.

“You asked for an Iced Cap. Here it is. It’s on the house, since your curiosity and eagerness brought most of the neighbourhood here. Enjoy,”

Kamiko took the drink, unable to really say anything in reply. Somehow, her outburst got her an Iced Cap, delivered by the ‘Iced Cap’ of the café, Kousetsu MIKI.

“What just happened now?” She thought aloud.

*PAFT!”

That sound got Kamiko’s attention back to the ring, where Tamao had just ducked under a countering left from the Baker Boxer, giving her the opening to swat Kanata’s chin upwards with a spray of sweat into the air.

Kanata staggered back a few steps and felt pushed back into a corner once again from a follow up left cross that she couldn’t get her glove up to block.

Yosha! Get in there and pound the air out of her!

Tamao bolted in, seemingly ready for the finishing blows to Kanata’s breadbasket.

A little kitchen timer went off in Kanata’s head at that very moment. Bouncing off of the corner, her left uppercut towards its target – Hard, but not brutal, and with enough force to also put some shove into things.

PING

N-Now! Nownownow!

The shot found its target – A Bunny who sometimes is too fast for her own good. Black leather compressed against her face and forced her off balance more than any other time during this epic back and forth.

BFFT!
