Coming from this rather ambiguous teaser: comes this finished piece, and it's the surprising continuation of Kanata's quest to find a solution to her big problem! What a surprise that she finally did something she's never done when sparring or facing off with her Energizer Bunny friend. When it comes to the goings on of the café, just like a title fight, Kanata really pours things on - and Tamao Silver ran into a large double-double just now that put her on her behind. Now, on we go!

“OOOHHHH!” the café patrons erupted in a crowd reaction that would make the original ECW proud.

Why was this packed house so rowdy this afternoon?

It’s the culmination of a surprise boxing attraction brought on by the Boss-Lady herself when she absolutely needed an extra body to work the café floor this Thursday evening.

Putting her most prized cake on the line against an evening of work in front of her dear friend Tamao Silver, the knockdown challenge was on, and on it went with plenty of action, near falls and suspense.

Just over 30 minutes in and with Kanata cornered by the Bunny once again, she timed a stiff left well enough to knock Tamao off her balance so much that with a vain attempt to grab the ring rope beside her… She stumbled backward, lost her footing and fell straight onto her behind.

“S-She actually knocked her down first! What a score, Boss-Lady!” Konami Manaka shouted out over the microphone.

Kanata leaned against the corner for a second, realizing that the crowd had gotten just a little larger than when she started this gamble.

W-When did this crowd get so big? She wondered.

Kanata turned her attention to her fallen comrade, who was rubbing her behind with a wince and an amused look of defeat. Tamao Silver walked into a perfectly timed glove and paid for it, along with the Americano and slice of cake that was already on her tab.

“Itatata… Mitsumi-san would surely scold moi for that,” she muttered, looking up at Kanata.

The Baker-Boxer knelt down, holding the middle rope to better pick up her vanquished ‘foe’, or in this case – her new waitress for Thursday night.

“Well, there really is a first time for everything. I’ve never been able to do that to you, you slippery and sturdy thing,” She commented.

Tamao offered her glove to tap the victor’s and admit her defeat.

“Omedetou. Nice timing there, Kana-chan. You’re hitting harder, or at least vous hit way harder defending votre café,”

Kanata couldn’t help but snicker at that quip. She helped Tamao up to her feet.

“Well now. Are you ready for your Thursday evening shift right here in this ring and on the café floor?”

Tamao gave a quick embrace and a salute to the noisy patrons.

“Maa, atashi ha just fine for that. I’m just glad that I had no plans ce jeudi soir. Just leave it to moi!”

The patrons roared in applause at that declaration and unknown to the two ladies in the ring, several were tapping away on their smartphones.

“All right! Kyoko-chan, go ahead and lend a hand to Tama-shi here. She’ll want to freshen up and maybe a good massage is in order, too,”

The slender, ponytailed waitress waved and motioned for Tamao to follow her to the locker room for a post-fight makeover.

“Hai, I could use that now. Zannen desu ne… that scrumptious cake,” Tamao playfully pouted.

“And get her a couple pieces of you-know-what to go,” Kanata added to Kyoko’s duties.

Hikari and Manaka entered the ring to give their Boss-Lady congratulations and lend a hand to the worn fighting lady.

“Gamble paid off, it did. I didn’t think you’d be so bold as to challenge Tamao-shi to something she’s never lost to you at. That was quite the stroke of luck for you,”

Kanata wrapped her right arm around Hikari’s shoulders.

“In my line of work, there’s no such thing as luck. Surely, you know that piece of wisdom, don’t you?” Kanata quipped.

“Touché, my master,” Hikari playfully replied.

Manaka gave her Boss-Lady a pat on her very nice behind.

“And now you’ve got someone to fill in for MIKI. Thursday’ll be a piece of cake!”

No pun intended, right? Kanata thought. She surveyed the cheering patrons for a second before waving to them all
“50% Mochaccinos for the next 3 hours!”

That got the patrons’ attention, cheering loud enough for even Annette to plug her ears for a moment.

Oh, boy. It’s going to be a long evening, but it’s bank for de Boss-Lady. Annette thought, scratching her head.

On the way out of the ring, another waitress rushed up to Kanata with a café iPad in-hand.

“K-Kanata Boss! You’ve got to see this!” she cried out, handing the iPad over.

Kanata took a quick look at the café’s Twitter feed that was trending.

‘Energizer Bunny’s working the café this Thursday night. Awesome time to be there! #Swimsuitbunnyatboxingglovethursdaynight ,’

A sly grin formed on the Baker-Boxer’s face.

“Oh, boy. I think it’s gonna be way busier than - Um… Boss-Lady?” Manaka prodded.

Kanata simply replied:

“Ne, let’s get THAT suit ready for her, shall we?”
