Voice Actor Chronicles - Episode 10 - Steven Jay BlumMy second LA-based VAC pic, for the one and only Steve Blum! His characters on this pic include: Kazuma (left) from S-cry-ed, Lord Darcia from Wolf's Rain (top left), Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop (top right), Orochimaru from Naruto, Guilmon from Digimon (bottom right) and TOM the Toonami Mascot Robot. Steve Blum is a VA everyone knows of, and has been in FAR more anime titles than the ones with the characters I've put here. I had to pick about six that would work, and I think these were some good choices, several of which are big favorites of his (yes, including Guilmon). Steve I've yet to meet at a con, but I will when Otakon swings around this weekend, and I'll have plenty of oppourtunity to speak with him with the amount of panels he's doing. From what I've heard he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, so that's certainly good news for me

He did played well as Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebop), Vincent Valentine (Final Fantasy 7, Advent Children, Dirge of Cerberus), GaleΒ (Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Gale), and Wolverine (other MARVEL projects)

Steve Blum is the man! He's so talented, I loved his voicework as Kazuma. Some people hate on dubs and people who enjoy watching dubs, but those suckers are chumps, and who wants to be a chump?!

He is such a good VA, I am a huge fan of the guy. Especially in Digimon. He did heaps of voices for different characters in it.
Quite recently though I heard his voice in the game Mad World as the protagonist called Jack (hugely resembles Hellboy). There was no doubt about it.

Maybe you just ran out of room cuz you were missing J.P. fron Digimon Frontieer, Zabuza and Orochimaru from Naruto, and Guilmon's other forms. I'm sure there were others but those are the only ones I can think of at the moment.

Awesome work here. Steven Jay Blum is also one of my favorite voice actors. I would also love to meet him in person and the same goes to either Scott McNeil or David Kaye. But the real goldmines to meet would be Frank Welker and Peter Cullen. As for Blum, he also did these characters from other animes I know of. He did Zabuza and Orochimaru from Naruto and Agito Makishima/Guyver III from the 80s anime The Guyver. ^^ You know, imagine for a new Starfox video game in the future, think he would be perfect for either Fox or Wolf? ^^ Because for me, it could work.
