This picture took about 5 hours to complete... it seems that these days, I really really want to draw! I didn't actually use any new brushes in this... whatever, I didn't need them! I loved making this. The auroras especially were a fun challenge, as well as making the ice look like ice (seriously, how do you draw ice?). The shading on Kirby's jacket was fun~ I like doing shading where it looks like there's two layers involved but there's not.
I was actually going to finish the picture without the mountains in the background, but being my perfectionist self, I decided that I needed to add more to the background or the pic wouldn't really be complete.

Oh yeah, I guess I also finally get to show off my Freeze Kirby gijinka in his full glory. He's so awesome, and adorable (and I have to say, I thought of Snorunt while designing the gijinka).
