Description left - Pseudo-Pinhead. right - Pinhead. From the movie "Hellraiser: Revelations".

"I shall call him... Mini-Me" is quote from the movie "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me".

What an irony - Pseudo-Pinhead turned out to be best made cenobite in Revelations (from the point of view of design and make-up), but it's existence in this movie is not justified at all. The main question - why would Pinhead make a twin and chose an ordinary boy betrayed by his friend for that purpose - I still have no answer to that. Even I can think of several versions at once - that Steven (Pseudo's human name) is Pinhead's descendant or when Pinhead decided to "retire" he made a successor. Hell no - the film-makers didn't even try to find any kind of explanation to that, as if the question is of little importance. He might have looked like Mickey Mouse in that case - this would be the same illogical. Anyway I like Pseudo-Pinhead more than Pinhead played by Collins.

I like " Mini-Me" hes somewhat original in overall design and looks like he could have been a cenobite in the old movies and comics unlike Fat-ass over there ._.

Pseudo design really looks much better than the design of the "real" Pinhead

LOL, thanks man. I can come up with plenty more if one of the Dimension creators has a dA account around here.

Ò_Ó Ah, it's FAKEY! Oh how wonderful! *sarcasm intended* -_-"

My friend you are so right. Oh don't get me started on this guy. I have nothing against the actor but the casting was just so wrong in every count. He's too muscular - so therefore he makes it look like he's fat. Doug Bradley was perfectly slim line without the bulk and muscles so he could fit into his suit perfectly and he'd look realistically lean. And let's not forget this guy's mannerisms. He looks too mean and angry. He looks like a bad cop just fresh from an acupuncturist session. Pinhead's not meant to be mean. Not the film incarnation anyways. Pinhead is meant to be calm, logical, dark, brooding, and poetic and intelligent. What's so intelligent about this guy?? Sigh. He's just so wrong for the role in every way. They were either best off casting someone who was like Doug in that he was skinny and perhaps Shakespearean. OR they could have left Pinhead out altogether. When Doug turned the role down, it should have told Dimension that they should just leave it or perhaps do a story that Doug would have liked. Oy. It's just so stupid. :/ So stupid.

I know how you hate FAKEY, my friend. LOL. But what do you think about Pseudo?

Dimension could not leave it, otherwise they would lose the copyrights to Hellraiser. Personally, I'd be happy if it happened. Because they driven Hellraiser into the grave.

Yeah, I hate Fakey. And the Pseudo? Don't get me started. |:/ Oh well. Gotta admire the make up I guess.

Yeah, I know how Dimension had to make this film or they would have lost the rights to the franchise so they couldn't make the remake. Hmpth, should have happened. -_-"

They said it was because Steven admires Pinhead so much that he wants to be like him.
Personally, I think that would've been a cool concept to replace Pinhead when Doug decided that this movie was too retarded. I mean...something like...
Pseudo "When you admire someone...you'll always be the number two. No matter how hard you try, how good you are. You'll be the best one only if the one you love doesn't exist anymore."
So Pseudo killed the real Pinhead because he wanted to be as good as him. They had the chance to replace Pinhead without turning him into this weird...chubby...thing. WAS IT THAT HARD TO THINK? COME ON!
No, I don't like the movie. Is it THAT obvious?

Honestly, I don't remember this being mentioned in the movie. Or did director or scriptwriter ever stated that officially?
Yes, Doug Bradley refused to play in this movie, that's why they invented 2 Pinheads and even named the whole family after him - Bradley! Oh now much they tried to compensate his absence!
It's better have been like that. Although if Pseudo-Pinhead killed Pinhead that would have contradicted the movie Bloodline, where Pinhead perished at the space station in the far future.

I don't remember. I think they said it somewhere, but I can't remember.
I mean...if even the guy who played Pinhead in 8 movies refuses to do it, you should understand that there's something wrong...
Well...actually, the old comics ignored the fact that Pinhead was Elliott Spencer, and they decided that he was the reincarnation of an Aztec god...sooo...I decided that after all Hellraiser isn't supposed to make sense if you put everything together.
Take Chatterer. Nicholas Vince wrote a short story where he was an actor (or something like that.) before opening the box, while in the movies he's a kid...
And I ignore the fact that Pinhead died, in Bloodline. In my opinion Merchant's experiment on the Minos created a schism of reality, and in another dimension it didn't work, but it only destroyed the box and sent Pinhead back to Hell. PINHEAD CAN'T DIE LIKE THAT, COME ON.
Ok, the last part didn't make sense.
