No, because you have a strong opinion and feel the need to say it in the least graceful way possible. There's a difference between honesty and shooting your mouth because you think you're super great or something. I am a great respecter of honesty, and I can accept you dislike this but you don't have to be such a dick about it.

No you're right I probably went off too much, but I dont think I am super fucking great either. I told you up front I was a dick and in the moment I needed to call this GM out on putting this in the DD gallery. Lots of talent out there, and this was a bad example. I've said my peace.

I can understand not finding it funny, not everyone shares the same sense of humor. I'm okay with that. But can you please explain to me what is so 'crap' about the art? I'm always open to constructive crits, but the way you worded this isn't particularly helpful for that. I'd like for you to elaborate, if that's possible. c:

Well the art is amateur. Sorry. There is a lot to improve. I think it speaks for itself. Its not a style issue it is a quality issue for me.

I would like to say that I think the proportions are fine and that the other guy is just finding things to nit-pick at.

Ok sorry. The proportions of your characters change frame to frame, for instance the girl's arms. That's gonna stick out to people. The characters themselves seem sloppy on a closer look, not enough defining edges and the coloring could be better. I'm not hating on you but I also think this does not represent the best on DA, which is what a DD used to be. And the problem with the humor is that its not funny, its absurd and disturbing, but not funny because there is no context. Why should I laugh that she was denied? Why is there a ghost following her?

Not everyone shares the same sense of humor. While you and some others may not find this funny, many others do.
As for the artwork, it is by no means 'crap'. If there is something you can see that you feel needs improving point it out and suggest how the artist may improve upon it.
You're free to express your opinions about what you feel should and shouldn't be a daily deviation but please do so in the correct place. It was me who DD'd this strip, not the artist and complaining on the piece doesn't achieve anything positive.

It's sad that Deviantart is going downhill like this. You're telling me that this is the BEST OF DA? Of all the great pieces that go unnoticed this is the cream that rose to the top? I hope there isn't a next time where I have to be frustrated enough to complain again.
