wow thats a bit harsh and possesive, funny though, i love the "because~" bit, its totally somthing i'd do sarcastically.
not knowing the charicters at all, having seen this image on a feature wheel at the bottom of my messages folder, id say, my first impression was a tired, polite push over of a girl, then she stood up and argued, completely different to how i expected it to go, and im really proud she fougth the point, even if that guy turned creepy and swore at her for it in a rather unjust reasoning.

It is indeed part of a larger story. However, it's one that I've yet to produce more of, but there will be more in the future, definitely. In the mean time, I do have a different comic I'm working on and I'm happy that you're taking the time to look through my stuff. c:

What the ...., I don't get it? Where is the hilarious part? Maybe the message is, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. But most of the time there is a reason for that to be said, and I don't see that.
Not judging on the art itself, that is very good, but hilarious, come on....?

The facial expressions contribute significantly to the humor. The apple-man's freak-out is also supposed to be pretty funny (and it is, in my view, but hey, humor is subjective).
