He looks perfect. Good muscularity, nice veins. And the details! Horns on the front are kind of funny. Sometimes he just rams his way in, eh? And did he chop off the dude's head with the blunt side of his axe? Tried to be merciful, right?

Yeah, we know that, of course. But Conan, well, he is a warrior, not a scholar. He once might have cut himself accidentally with his kitchen knife and concluded that "sharp" means "it hurts badly". So, following this logic, he used the blunt side of his axe to spare his enemies unnecessary pain. That's just a theory, though.
