Kinda fooling around while fighting the sleep demon at work (working at night does wonders for the imagination!). I never had a chance to tackle a NightWing illustration, although I LOVED the job that Scott McDaniel did on the book during his run a few years back. It's a compelling character, and I'd love to illustrate a NightWing story someday.Related content

Hopefully, we'll get lucky! I haven't really been up on the latest books, since the recession cut into my book-buying budget. I knew that Scott McDaniel had left the book, but I had no idea that the book itself, was cancelled! When did this happen?

It's along way since Scott. I got the complete run. Greg Land take over after Scott's left. It's getting worse once Chuck Dixon move to Crossgen.
But the reason of Nightwing books gets canceled is more because of he's now replacing Bruce as Batman.

He is??? Not sure I'm digging that...Bruce Wayne IS Batman...that's gonna be a hard pill to swallow, especially since the NightWing character is, in my mind, pretty significant in the Bat-Universe...

So I assume you didn't know that Bruce is dead now? Or at least we all think he's dead. His skull is being held by black hand of the green lantern corps now. Or what we think as his skull. By the way if you didn't read Blackest night, I highly recommend that. Great writings, top notch art.
