You can now use PNGs too in Windows 7 Start Orb Changer or CustomizerGod . Just make a 54 x 162 transparent image in any image editor where
    - the first 54 pixels contains the default state of the start orb
    - the second 54 pixels contains the hover state
    - the third 54 pixels contains the pressed state.

Hey, I don't know where to go for this, but this program works(I have the changer, too), but when I put my custom orbs in, it does this weird thing. Every time I change between default, hover, and pressed orbs, they layer all on top of eachother so they show all at once in front of eachother. Help?

Can you send me the orb?

Oh, sorry I didn't see this when you sent it, I already figured it out. I also looked further in these comments and saw that all windows start orbs do that layering thing. I just changed it to all be the same shape.

You can upgrade to the latest version, Windows 8.1, which has a start button. If you are running Windows 8 then its free.

But I have a new install of windows 7 and It doesn't wanna seem to work with it, I get the error "windows 7 start orb changer has stopped working" When I run it. I can't even get to the program, Running as Admin doesn't help either. Any Idea with this? Windows 7 x64 Ultimate

Hey, I'm not sure you can help with this but when I use this tool it's great except for one thing, when I select each image for the orbs, it enlarges them to where they don't fit on my taskbar! :/ It awkwardly sticks out when I hover over it, if you can, pleeease help!!!

I have a problem with the creator.

I created one, but the hover and pressed state overlaps to the normal state. Any idea why this is happening?

Never-mind. I realize it's not right creating start orbs that changes position.

How did you make the entire window to show as glass?

btw, I've never saw so many useful apps in a same place. You should make a suite, place all of them inside of only one app (:
