Description
Drawn for my Art 107a class. This is another emulation of a piece by the wonderful artist "Alphonse Mucha". This time i did "summer". here's a link to the original. [link]for this project, it was CRITERIA for me to redraw the original piece (and add my own style and influence)
this was my first time using prisma color pensils so i could use some advise.

oh i LOVE THIS.
you never see good traditional art floating around anymore... i love the hair! the shading is great and the creases and folds on the clothes are perfect. you can draw straight lines too.. something i can't do. D: lol

Wow woman. this is incredible. i lurve this. i like your renditions of Mucha. The folds are nicely done in the back of her dress and well as the flowers in her hair. i also like how she's slouching. it's an unattractive pose which gives off the feeling of a slight sorrow and uncaring of the beauty that she holds. very nice, as also the original.

Ahhh Mucha. He's great.
You really managed to capture his style here. As for using Prismacolors, the only advice I can offer is to invest in one of the colorless blenders- you can burnish without losing any of the vibrancy of the colors.
Uh. Yeah.
Beautiful work!

Wow. This is really well done. I dare say that it looks professional.
The only thing i'd change is to make more of the lines as wonderfully sharp and dark as the the flowers in her hair.
