hello i wanted to make an adopt pair based on the premise of what could be a really ridiculous anime series LMAO
they come with a little bonus cheeb..

i'll use X and Y as name placeholders in their flavor text! feel free to change it out or discard the flavor completely
since this one has the option to AB both together and they were essentially made to be a set with their story, the combo AB will be posted
at 9:50PM, jul 8th STHLM time, giving anyone interested in the whole set a ten minute window to AB them first. i will make a separate comment for this
which can only be used when the combo AB is up!

other than that;

this is an auction! individual ABs will be added 10PM, jul 8th STHLM time

On the run with Nyurei and Belyth

Working part-time as a mascot for the local baseball team wasn't the
most glamorous or exciting gig X had done over the summer.

But things took an interesting turn one Tuesday night when they
came across an unconscious alien smack in the middle of the baseball field.

All X wanted was to quickly fetch back their favorite cap and bike home again.
What the hell are you supposed to do in this situation?
And what's with all these monsters suddenly lunging at them?
Could they be here for the alien!?

Wispy, long, and careful in their mannerisms, you are certain that Y embodies
the same air a unicorn would should you come across one in the wilderness.
And when they look at you unblinkingly, it is like staring through a window into a distant world.

Which is why it's so jarring when they do things like point at people and say something
completely out of line, leaving you to quickly scramble and either cover up their obvious
alien features or come up with an excuse for whatever insult they just blurted.

They are far too curious for their own good!
And playful, too - you noticed their favorite game is making small items
levitate across your bedroom.

But there are those still moments too, where they will stare into the night
to somewhere far, far beyond.

Someway, somehow there must be a way to get them back home.
You'll figure it out no matter what.

extra flavor:

- very strong prehensile tail
- can fight, just prefers not to get dirty
- perfectly capable of speaking and isn't stupid, just very quiet
- sleeps upside down
- skin is soft and dewy
- attracts lightning during storms, but can't be electrocuted!?
- clothes are ill fitting and were hastily grabbed from the lost and found section
- has not stopped eating jello since discovering what it was

When X was little, they'd hit a baseball over the fence so hard
that they truly believed it took towards the stars and landed somewhere in space.
Squinting towards the moon, X asked whoever might be listening; "is anyone out there?"
But nobody replied. Only the neighbor's dog who had been abruptly woken up and started barking.

Now as a college student struggling to make ends meet, X sometimes daydreams about it.
What if there is life out there? Surely, there has to be more to it than just the glow in the dark
alien stickers littering the walls of their room. Maybe if they'd become an astronaut like they
wanted as a child, they would know the answer already.

One night working their part-time job at the local sports stadium, X spots a pale body laying silent
in the middle of the field, spotlights beaming down on it as if fate herself wanted them to step forward.

X barely has time to think before masses of grimy monsters come pooling over the
bleachers, contorting into grotesque shapes as they roll towards the helpless body and
dig up dirt in their wake, desperate to get there quickly.

But before they lay a single gooey finger on the pale stranger, X has grabbed a bat
and revived that powerful baseball swing from their childhood.

Maybe they will never become an astronaut like they'd hoped.
But it's never too late to become a hero.

extra flavor:

- once had a youtube channel dedicated to smashing regular household
objects with a bat and playing it in slow-motion. it never got very popular
- really digs comics, especially older ones
- they're not sure how they got the starry pattern in their eyes, but it's one of the
first things people usually point out
- really loves that cap. it was a gift
- scared of thunder
- powerful baseball swing and precise hits helps them fight off any alien monsters
- sings loudly in the car to old 70's classics
