Another repaint I finished this weekend! I've had this Faybelle Thorn doll laying around for a few months; intended for another project for which I've decided to use Monster High doll instead. I recently discovered that yarn could be used for reroots, and this made me very happy because doll hair can get very, very expensive and I have TONS of yarn leftover from myriad crochet projects. I thought I'd give this whole yarn hair thing a try. In order to maintain the integrity of the yarn I wanted to go with a curly look, and really, really wanted to try an 18th century style bouffant updo. One thing led to another and, VOILA! Cecily.
