Description
this is belle. I like to think that maybe Beast just walked in and as she heard him walking in she was pulled from her book to give him an inviting smile.anywho. this was another quick picture i drew while i was watching Beauty and the Beast a couple of weekends ago. I liked it so i threw some colours on her and here you have it! hope you enjoy!
oh, and i apologize for the fact that the bg is completely sh*tacular and halfa**ed. i do hate them, after all. is more like an...atmosphere setter. :/

I love the relaxed, inviting manner Belle is looking out at the portrait. It really feels as if she has her gaze set on the enchanted Prince. Beautiful.

glad you could put an era to it, lol. i know the story is supposed to take place somewhere in the late 1600's early 1700's but i like to make my own mishmash of era fashion and see what comes out. thanks you.

Don't minds in despite on era. I think Disney's artists conceived it was impossible to animate 1700 - 1790 clothes, and put the story at the end of great era of French Royalty, across french Revolution...
And the Castle seems likes built on Violet le Duc's architecturals's conceptions, or Ludwig II's Neuschawnstein... in XIX century though...
Belle seems like Juliette Binoche in the French Movie "Le Hussard sur le Toit" based on Jean Giono's roman.
On your picture, it's so romantic...
