Description
The Pirates ship is over-run and sinking. Bruce abandons his ship in a lifeboat with Sophie who is too weak to resist him. By this time her skin is very pale, and her limbs tremble to the point she can no longer stand. She has been away far too long from the sea and will die if she does not soon return.
Things go from bad to worse when Damion is believed to still be on the flaming, sinking ship as Bruce reaches a near by island. Completely mad and insane, Bruce forces himself onto Sophie, ripping her cloths and pinning her down.
All she can do is cry out for help as she fights and claws with the last of her strength, until a loud crack in the air rings her ears, and she sees Bruce reel back in agony, blood soaking the front of his shirt before the pirate caption collapses on his side, gasping for air.
Damion appears from the dense tropical forest, his pistol still smoking from his shot. The wound on his chest is identical to Bruce's, because of the curse he was under. He intentionally nicks Bruce's/ his heart to where he doesn't die immediately, so that he can have his last moments saving Sophie and put her back into the ocean.
As the ocean gives her strength again, Damion is struggling to breath as he tells her all that he can in those precious seconds, his blood spreading in the water like a blooming rose. Sophie can only clutch him helplessly in this moment, and when he sinks under the waves she gives him air, trying desperately to keep him breathing as she begs the 'mother sea' to let him live.
