"It fits you well" Legolas complimented when you walked out in elvish clothing. You wore a brown and green knee length tunic with a belt holding two scabbards holding two identical long white knives. You had light armour on your shoulders and wrists. A quiver was strung over your back full of arrows with (favorite color) feathers. In your hand was a longbow similar to Legolas's but not as powerful. Your (hair color) hair was tied back into half-up half-down with a braid like all the others.

You shrugged and blushed as he stood back and admired you, his chin on his knuckles an his elbow resting on his arm. Arms up in the air, you twirled around , letting the bottom of your tunic swirl. You started giggling like a little girl when your braid caught up with you and smacked you in the face. Legolas chuckled and took your hand, together you ran to the battle grounds. You guys took your places at the front of the line, preparing for the battle for Rivendell.

As the Orcs approached, you started to feel nervous. Legolas felt your anxiety and grasped your hand, looking at you with encouraging eyes. You looked back at him, with worry replacing his encouragement. Rolling his eyes, Legolas leaned over and kissed you lightly on the lips. When he pulled back, he looked at your expression and smirked.

"yep" you breathed, "that'll do it" Happiness and determination overpowered your anxiety.

"Ready archers!!" the leader shouted, Legolas drew an arrow and nocked it,you got the point and copied him. "Aim!!" you drew back the arrow and aimed a the front of the Orcs. "FIRE!!" You released the arrow along with all the other archers. It struck the one you were targeting, right in the heart. Yes! You thought to yourself. But it was not over.

The Orcs started charging. "Fire at will" shouted the leader. You nocked more arrows and fired them at the Orcs, increasing in speed with each shot. You turn to see how the others are doing and something in the distance catches your eye. Legolas! You mentally shout, Oliphants! Legolas looks up and sighs.

"Oliphants!" he shouts to the others, "We have Oliphants to deal with to!"

can I try with these things? You ask Legolas, wanting a challenge.

I bet you could handle it, I have before. He reluctantly replied.

Yes! You ran through the crowds of war, shooting at all the Orcs in your path. Finally you got to an Oliphant, they were bigger up close. Swallowing, you ran to one of the spiked tusks and hopped on. You ran to the front leg of the beast and jumped when it took a step. I am too close to the Orcs, they'll see me. I must get on the back leg and attack from behind. Yeah, this might work.

You jumped from the front leg to the back and climbed up the side. With your bow, you shot down three Orcs and dodged two. Sliding down the side, your grabbed a hold of the rope holding the Howdah in place. Drawing a knife from its scabbard, you cut the ropes. The Howdah leaned to the side, you kept a hold on the rope and it pulled you back to the top of the Oliphant. After it fell, you ran to the head, to the. There you nocked three arrows and shot them into the soft neck of the beast. The Oliphant trumpeted, making you cover your ears from your exceptional hearing. The Oliphant stumbled and collapsed, you slid down his trunk and hopped onto the ground.

Legolas stood not ten feet away, gaping at you like you were a ghost. "whats your problem?" you called, running over to him.

"oh,uh, nothing, its just, that is exactly, EXACTLY, how I did it!" he marveled

"Oh. Really?" you swept your bangs aside and shot the Orc sneaking up on Legolas. He looked behind you and shot one aiming for you. "Thanks!'

"You too!" Legolas backed up to stand back-to-back with you they were circled by Orcs. At least fifteen, both you and Legolas nocked three arrows and shot down three Orcs each. Six down, nine to go. Once they were all down, Legolas looked around. The battle was over, no Orcs remained, and no elven blood was shed.

"Yes! We did it!" you cheered running to Legolas and hugged him tightly. He hugged back and chuckled, resting his chin on you shoulder. Pulling back, he tucked a lock of hair behind your ear, which he curiously payed the most attention to. As you blushed and looked down, he traced your jaw and raised your head to look in your (eye color) eyes. You felt your heart melt as you looked into his loving, blue eyes.

Legolas took your hand and lead you back to Rivendell. He brought you to Elrond, for what reason, you don't know. "Elrond, I am most certain that (name) is, in this world, an elf."
