Description
So I've not been around much recently. This my apology of sorts.Tho i dunno if there's a lot of typos...i tend to make quite a few X'''DD and I managed to catch my finger in the door the other day (not my drawing hand so no worries) but it doesn't like bending or applying pressure so i mess up with typing haha
Any questions feel free to ask and i'll help how i can <3
There's other tutorials in my gallery...somewhere...I should make a folder for them...

A really useful tutorial. Hair can be so hard to draw. I like to draw long hair but it doesn't look very "alive". And I'm not too proud of how I draw braids either
I think this tutorial can be very helpfull for me

Apparently not.

Really only mentioned it, because curly hair is such a pain to make look right and not like a tangle of weird, scribbly randomness. I even HAVE curly hair, and I never draw it!

The thing about movement is called Overlapping and Secondary Action, it's one of the principles of animation. It's the idea that clothing, hair, acessories, etc. follow just after the primary action, which is what your character is doing.
I'm so glad you're encouraging construction in anime. A lot of kids draw anime and think they're artists, and they're really not producing well made things.

Lol yeah, i studied animation for a while and think i might have rambled about that on some other tutorial.
I think too many people draw from cartoons and anime rather than drawing from life. Because if you draw from something like that you're potentially drawing from something that's already wrong.
Thank you <33

Well I guess no tutorial is gonna cover everything that a person could want so the idea is to take what you can and apply it how you can.
I'm sure if you thought about it you could work out wavy or curly hair from this or by looking at pictures.

Normally tutorials don't help me whatsoever and I just read them for fun. But your idea that overlapping hearts = braids definitely surprised me and will help with something that has been frustrating me for awhile! XD So thx.

You got your finger stuck in the door? I had my thumb crushed in it once. XD
Anyway, this is an interesting tutorial and actually pretty accurate. Oddly enough, it also has a similar style to my own. lol
