Thanks so much for the crit <3 I totally agree that a lot of things in this piece were underworked. I'm seriously considering fixing some of it up once I get my tablet functional again <3

looks like you got your rendering down pat, but you could definitely still use some work on your anatomy. Specifically, your torsos. No one has an abdomen thinner than their head.

Thanks so much for the crit :3 I'm not saying anatomy isn't IMPORTANT, but I think so many people place far too much weight on it. I think the dynamic angle of a piece or the bold colouring and style is more important. And you're right that she's too skinny. I noticed that when I inked it, but I inked it anyway. Style is a poo excuse for bad work though hahahah. Thanks for taking the time to analyze it :3

I wholeheartedly agree that angle and bold coloring and style is more important. I'm not actually saying that you need to make your images realistic. Practicing anatomy just happens to give a better general understanding of the body, so things don't look subconsciously off or out of place.

and np, barely anyone crits on DA anyway.

I absolutely love the game, and find myself loving this piece. The you made Rose look...hm...

Well, something about it reminds me of a portrait style from a certain PC game. I like that.

I haven't heard anything new about that LoD2... well, I haven't checked on it, but it's been so so very long since I last heard them mention it - and still nothing. If it ever happens, I do hope it's a prequel.
Sigh... Rose was such a great character, and this piece just reminded me how much I loved that game - despite the shortcomings you already mentioned (such as spelling).

I might just end up doing some fanart of it thanks to this picture. Truly amazing~

OMG! I That game! It is su much better than that of Final Fantasy because It actually ends! n.n They should indeed, make a sequal or at least a remake with mucho better graphics!

I'm pretty sure they are in the process of making a LOD2--which I am very excited about! The only shame about LOD is that there was a terrible translation, which weakened its appeal at the beginning of the game for a lot of players. Also, the characters were quite stereotypical far into the game I'm not saying I didn't love it, but I've been trying to figure out why it wasn't so popular and I think thats why!

Actually its before the ending movie. Rose, if you use her, gets it from LLoyd (obviously) near the end before you fight the final boss (sorry I guess that wasv spoiler--but I imagine if someone was dying to finish it they'd have done so by now....)
