I spent a very long time on this. I really like the way that the sky turned out, and I like the colours I used on Rose. If you're familiar with the game, then it makes sense why Rose is leading followed by Dart, and closely followed by Shana. I couldn't find a good picture of the Buster sword, so I more or less made it up.Related content

This picture is just as great as the game was. The only problem I see with the picture is the fact that Dart should have a little more hair.

Nope, also PSP5. Yea, I have a tablet, but I don't always use it. Contrary to popular believe they DON'T "make your art better". It basically just makes it faster, and its easier on your wrists ^^

I know it doesn't make your art better because I can draw with a mouse too. Its just, I think I might be more comfortable with a tablet than a mouse. Saying that a tablet makes your art look better is blaming the tool for the artists ability.

I can tell how much effort you put into this picture, the colors really shine and are beautiful. The sky is so majestic and I can feel the characters presence and personalities just through this picture alone. It make sme want to buy Legend of Dragoon

It looks great. The sky and backgrounds are perfectly painted. I like the color palette you used, Reminds me of the color squeme used in Breath of fire 4. It is a very good color scheme you chose well.
Fire efect rules. I did played Legend of dragoon but I don't remember the character's names.
You managed to pull their design in your own very unique style. this is gorgeous.
I only think The characters in the back need a shadow to make it feel they are "there", What do you think?

If i go back and rework the piece, I'll try to remember the shadows suggestion. For some reason I always forget shadows! Thanks so much for the keen eye :3 I appreciate that you took the time to study this piece and notice little details that even I missed >__<; (even though, I suppose, I can be quite blind because I never really get to see the piece as a whole like you guys... its forever in my brain as how it was constructed, from beginning to end!)

I actually don't think the composition is shakey at all. Just because its unconventional doesn't mean its a problem. The general shapes in this piece are common for me (I do them innatelz because its most comfortable for me) and I've actually been congradulated on how strong my compositions are. I don't want to sound like a stuck-up brat, but my compositions are something I take pride in. I would just ask you to elaborate...

Sure, sorry. Firstly I gotta say when it comes to painter work my own is very limited, so maybe I shouldnβt be talking at all. And I usually get told off for being too critical of peopleβs work, especially those whose work I actually admireβ¦ so please donβt take the following as an attack.
Having said that what I was trying to get at is the colour layout of this image is probably its weakness. While the characters stand out strongly the background is dangerously single-toned. The blue you use for the sky and the blue-grey you use in the rock are, in my opinion, too close to be used as definitive break-up. I can see what you were trying to achieve, and to an extent Iβd say you portray distance and feeling well but the flatness of the BG clashes with the vibrancy in the characters and foreground.
Weather the stuff above is actually useful in anyway at all is upto you, feel free to ignore me completely. But I hope that it is in someway helpful, and that is why I say what I say. Hope there no hard feelings.

No hard feelings, I thought you were talking about something else. I completely aggree. I just didn't want the background to take over, because I wanted the focus to be the characters and I wanted the forground to really blend into the background softly...

Oh my goodness!! I feel so ashamed! How could I NOT know that was Rose showing off right there?? She was my fave gal in that game. (And sadly enough, I have YET to beat it and I bought it on my 17th birthday.
