No one asked for this one, but its been something that people have been pestering `loish about a lot so I'm sure someone wants to know it :3 My other tips/tricks/tutorial sheets have been mostly beginner level, so I thought it was time I posted something a bit more intermediate.texture referances:

Haha I tried to make it really straightforward... the technique itself isn't very complicated. But you have to do it a few times to get used to how much opacity, how to colorize, etc good luck! Find your own personal style for it!

It's a good tutorial.. but.
I have a question.
How do you apply a texture to only one specific area? Say.. I want to apply texture to one of my painting's dress but not her face or anything else. How do I do that?

Step 6 Just erase any texture you don't want; because it's on it's own layer you won't disturb your colouring (a good way to do this if it's a small area is to laso the area, invert selection and delete. But for smalle areas, like just the face or hands, just manually go in and erase the texture you don't want!
