A lot of people don't like her character, but I actually do. She's young, give her a break XD. She's funny when she bitches about what a lame-ass Bill can be, especially compared to Eric, and when she's griping about how much like "ass" True Blood tastes, haha. I agree with your artist's comments, and I feel bad for her, because she was just sucked (haha, pun not originally intended but what the hell) into everything, was just a normal teenaged girl who was taken from her family and life and made into this thing that few people really know how to successfully get a handle on, herself included. I hope she and Hoyt manage to patch things up...they were so cute! Hoyt's awkward love for her was adorable, and the fact that she basically wants (or, at that point, wanted) nothing more to be a normal girl and have some fun and not just be judged for what she is vs. who she is. Plus she's cute and wears cute clothes XD. And I've always had a thing for redheads. Except Arleen(sp?)...she was cool, but then (especially in the books) she turns against Sookie and vampires and into a total bitch...and she's funny, but she just has terrible taste in men. Except for the short-order Vietnam vet cook at Merlott's whose name I just cannot remember for the life of me, right now. I've always thought he was a pretty decent guy and have appreciated his quirks. God, I love this show so much XD. Thank you for making such gorgeous fanart!

Jessica was incredibly annoying in the first season, but she turned to be one of my fav characters, definitely.
She's like a loaded gun.
I remember Bill's words: "Petulant, dangerous, afraid".

Yeah, she was a bit obnoxious, but I really enjoy dynamic characters who come into their own later on as things unfold. And she'll figure out who she is, too. Bill is a wise man <3. Sookie was kinda dumb to not heed his advice, but oh well. Blondes, you know
