"How to draw hands" is such a common question but it's hard for me to answer because generally I reference a photo of a hand (either mine or stock photo) and draw it like that,,,, but anyways here's a little breakdown of my "steps"!

1) my first step is a loose sketch, make sure things lineup where they're supposed to

2) my next move is lineart, OR a refined/cleanedup sketch
3) after that I lay down some warm undertones
4) and airbrushed some colder tones on top
5) then I added shadows! Using the blur tool wherever shadows aren't so crispy
6) Details! Some highlights, a nail, anything that needed patching up.
7) colored the lineart a bit and yA DONE 🎂
