Description Endless Knot Scar and dermal anchors done by Timb Wilton from Third Eye Tattoo
www.thirdeyetattoostudio.com
www.thirdeyepiercing.com

This knot (the red lines on my belly) is not a tattoo, its a cutting. The image is cut into my skin with a scalpel.
I have to keep it very clean so that as it heals it will end up being white lines, scars.
I will post pictures after the healing process so you can see the end result.

New pictures up of this one and my other one all healed. If you have any questions, please ask

Not really. To me tattoos hurt more, but yet I keep going back for more

Very nice design but didn't it hurt? o.O;

It did hurt a bit but not as much as getting tattooed. For me I like getting the outline of a tattoo done but hate the colouring in part. So getting scared is like getting outline done.

Holy shit I didn't even know one could have something like this done. Mind. blown. How long does that take relative to a tattoo?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kittyelixir In reply to DougFromFinance [2013-10-28 15:02:55 +0000 UTC]

haha, it really is interesting what you can find out on the internet!
It takes about the same time. This one took about 2-3 hours. They have to go over all the lines twice to make sure it is the right depth in the skin to actually scar

DougFromFinance In reply to kittyelixir [2013-11-05 15:23:18 +0000 UTC]

Haha, I know, right!? I'll have to check into it and see if there is anyone around these parts that do that sort of thing. Not that I have any ideas but I like to stay informed. Is it more irritating than having a tattoo done or are they fairly similar?

Val-Kyrie-Bliss In reply to ??? [2013-06-11 13:47:50 +0000 UTC]

How long does this take to heal, if I might ask? Also, how much is the pain compared to tattooing?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kittyelixir In reply to Val-Kyrie-Bliss [2013-06-25 08:20:44 +0000 UTC]

It took about 2-3 weeks to heal. Tattoo's hurt more then getting scarification. But the healing for scars is worse then tattoo's. No matter what, they are totally worth it!

Huh. I've never heard of scarring. Very cool idea though. And it's very pretty. I'll have to look into it.

kittyelixir In reply to TheAliceYouKnow [2011-11-23 23:43:49 +0000 UTC]

Yes, do. I have a picture up of when it was first done. Maybe I should put up the pictures of it as it got done. If you want to find out more about body mods, take a look at BME.com you will find a lot of different types of body mods there and just how far people go. Some are way to far for me, but there is a lot about scarification.

Ah, very cool. Thanks. I'm into tats and stuff but scarification wasn't something I'm familiar with.

kittyelixir In reply to DanekaBR [2011-11-01 06:28:21 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. No didn't hurt that much at all really. I think tattoos hurt more! The bad bit about it is the healing. I really need to update this account a lot more. I am doing a shoot this weekend and will ask them to get some photos of both of my scars.

Wow! I might have considered this if I didn't scar so badly. Keloids suck.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kittyelixir In reply to LolaBlackPotter [2011-07-11 11:12:52 +0000 UTC]

Its funny. This one didn't keloid up at all. It is rather faint and pretty. I have another one above it between my belly button and my boobs and that one did keloid, but its a wiring diagram so I think it looks amazing! Just depends on the part of the body where you get it.
I really should put up some more pictures of both of them.
Thanks

AMAZING! i've been thinking about getting one. how much do they hurt?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kittyelixir In reply to Sianamia [2010-09-13 06:42:41 +0000 UTC]

Depending on the location on your body as i found out with my second one. But no where near as much pain as a tattoo. The worst thing about scars is they are more annoying to heal then a tattoo. This scar didn't hurt at all.

Wickeddd tattoo, really nice placing.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kittyelixir In reply to msdawe [2009-04-17 01:48:30 +0000 UTC]

Thanks, the knot is not a tattoo its a scar, fresh cutting of the skin with no ink. I will post pictures later of it healed and the red lines will then be white scar lines.
But the scar is in between two of my tattoos, and i think it works really well.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

msdawe In reply to kittyelixir [2009-04-17 02:05:55 +0000 UTC]

Even sweeter, I don't think I've been scarification that clean in a long time.

Oh, there is a new section on deviantart for 'other body modification' which this would be under.

And yeah it does, it's a really elegant place to put it.

kittyelixir In reply to msdawe [2009-04-17 02:29:26 +0000 UTC]

Thanks.

Cant find this new section you speak of. Can you tell me exactly what it is so i can find it.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

msdawe In reply to kittyelixir [2009-04-17 02:33:10 +0000 UTC]

Well when your searching It goes
Traditional > Body Art > Body Modification > Scarification & Branding.

anddd when your uploading a new deviation it is...

Well.
I just checked and apparently they haven't fixed all the bugs out so you can't put it in that section yet hah. I guess just keep checking until deviantart fixes that.
