I finally put together Miss Buttons, whom I've had in pieces for quite a while now. I made the patterns for her myself, so she is a bit of an experiment for me.Miss Buttons would like you to know that she's made out of undyed linen and she has had her fill of ordinary wadding, although she insists that she is everything but ordinary despite what's inside her. She would also like to draw attention to her lovely embroidered nose and belly button and of course you shouldn't over look her beautiful glass eyes. Miss Buttons is roughly 30 cm tall, and because she's a lady, she won't reveal her weight.
Even if her ears are a little wonky and her shoulders are a bit odd, Miss Buttons does believe that one doesn't have to be perfect to be pretty.

She is fantastic... Hello Kitty is probably quivering in her booties. There's a new cute cat on campus, and she's hip, huffy and full of happy thoughts.
She needs clothing, love. Pretty victorian dresses and pirate costumes!

I applaud you - pattern-making is not easy, especially with something like this, where less than a centimeter can make a big difference. She's lovely.

Oh my goodness, that's wonderful! You really came up with your own unique way of doing the seams, and it came out looking very true to your style of artwork, actually. It seems odd to be saying this about a stuffed animal, but I love the color combination, and the way the little neck makes the head sit.

The linen is actually pretty soft. The more you handle it, the softer it goes.
