Description
I made this for the beautiful scrap paper project (I'm number 103). I really like how the bird came out, I used one of my favorite paper scraps for it.I added some shading and a few little leaves to the branch. I want to keep the image as simple as possible to give max. impact to the bird, and I 'm very happy with the way it is now.
Oh, and apologies on behalf of my poopy scanner, this looks so much better in person.

I love the colors and form you captured. Your style really shines through with this, and it's perfect. I also love the concept of this.
The only thing I can think of to make it a little more interesting is to add a light pattern to the background.. nothing too distracting or dark, because it would really take away from the fantasticness of the bird and the star.

Beautiful work. I agree that it's lacking something... maybe just some clouds behind the bird or something like that would make it look more 'finished'? It's adorable already, though!
