Description
Acrylics on 270 g/m2 paper, 18 x 25 cmI've felt like crap all day, emotionally. This was my way of dealing with depression this time around. It helped a little. And sometimes a little is just enough.

Good for you being able to let it out this way. I like the colors you used and can relate to it a lot .

Thank you. The colours were the first thing I had in mind when I started working on it. Everything else grew from that.

man, what you say in the comments is just like the painting i mentioned on your page, taking my depression out on a painting makes me feel better, enough to keep beating up my painting and not myself.

Yep, that's the beauty of art. The depression that inspired (sounds strange to say depression inspired something) this was a very quiet, resigned one, with no rage, only tears. Though the thin straight and squiggly lines represent the chaos going on in my mind, when a multitude of thoughts go round and round like in the washing machine and there's not a moment of peace. And underneath it all is this cool, quiet sad place.
I finished this pretty quickly, which is uncharacteristic of me.
