Description
I don't think I'm that good at drawing, but I've been asked enough times how to draw a sexy lady, and I figured I'd show you guys how I sketch.Celeste is (c) me.
EDIT I should be more specific about why I don't think I'm that good at drawing before somebody thinks that I'm looking for compliments here.
I've never had art classes. I mean, yes, I've had classes that were technically called Art in high school, but my teacher allowed me to sit in the cafeteria, outside the classroom, and draw sketches of comic and anime girls, and then blow them up to poster sized and color them with colored pencils. He gave me an "A" every semester, and I was not expected to actually attend class or complete any of the projects they were doing, or learn any of the techniques they were learning.
Basically, I had a free hour and a half, right before lunch, where I would get to draw by myself every semester.
This is not a bad thing. Seriously. I was super creative, I got a lot of work done, and I learned how to use the tools, such as the airbrush pen and building a silk screen box, that I wanted to learn how to use. And anything that I wasn't particularly interested in, like painting, I could pretty much ignore.
But it wasn't until later, when I wanted to start getting actually good at drawing that I realized I had to figure things out on my own and that I had wasted an incredible resource by just working on my own projects. If you're in school right now, I cannot stress this to you enough: Don't waste your time.
I'm not a good teacher. I'm not. And I'm not a very good student, either. So I don't know much, and I don't know if I pass it on very well. Which is why I think it's silly for me to make tutorials of any kind. It's like the blind leading the blind. Or in the case, the blind teaching the blind how to draw.
Still, like I said, I've been asked enough times that I thought I would try. And what I'm asked specifically is how to draw attractive women. That's what I do, after all. So here you are. There are better tutorials out there that will tell you about how many heads a body is supposed to be tall or something like that. There are better tutorials out there that will show you a bevy of geometric shapes to build a frame with.
When I sketch, it's just messy circles and wispy lines that sort of come together into something soft, curvy, and feminine.

I'm doing the more mannequin-drawing learning technique, from Drawing Figures For Dummies. You say you're not that good, but it seems so to me; you're able to capture a sexy lady
Don't worry about tutorials. This works. May I study it?

Of course. I put it up because I hoped that anything I managed to learn on my own would be helpful to someone else.

I 'steal' any 'nut' I can find, any small bit of info. I told my photographer/friend Jessica--Photos By Jessica is a folder here --that I'd spend 20 books on a drawing book just to get a few more ideas, to squeeze a few more out, and it's true.

I'm finally FINALLY taking an art class this term. x_x I've never cared whether or not my art has been graded. I just have to draw. It's a compulsion. I will literally WIG OUT if there is blank paper and a pencil in front of me and I'm not allowed to draw.

graded? ever try graded shading/values? I LOVE the pun I just came up with.
When it comes back around and I if I have the dough, I may do the same; it's 75 bucks for the beginner's class, plus you have to bring an 18x24
I'm like that now

Don't worry. It just takes time and effort. Draw every day and you'll be amazed how quickly you improve.
