Remember my rant a while back? That if I could start SSZ over I would done a few things differently? Like not make Cosmo a Mobian Monkey girl?

One of my earliest Cosmo concepts was closer to her alien nature, a shapeshifting alien that was to be chased by an intergalactic bounty hunter. She would assume the form of X Cosmo after seeing an anime on the freedom fighters' tv. I dunno how I got to current SSZ Cosmo after that. If that version of Cosmo (the monkey one) is to reappear in my future works, she'll be referred to as 'Cissnei' from now on since she is pretty much her own character now.

But back on the current design. First attempt at recreating Cosmo without the plant features was a pretty bare-bones designs. I recreated that design but added some features to still be closer to the original Cosmo. Like the gold bands remniscant of the sleeves, the red gems on top of her head resembling the flowers ect. She is also legless and instead can float.

In this version she is no shapeshifter, but she is an empath. She senses emotions from other living being: Mobians, feral animals and even plants. She has control over these powers so she won't get overwhelmed by the emotions of every living thing around her. The gems on her chest and head serve to detect these emotions. however when weakened or around much extreme emotions around the same time she gets overwhelmed and can suffer a personality lapse (as seen in the picture below).

I think it is an improvement over my original idea but its too late to use since SSZ is already planned out completely and it would really interrupt the flow if I added something again.

Oh well, maybe in a future project.
