Simba having fun with Timon and Pumbaa. If you play with a lion, accidents could happen any time
I used this simple background and Simba for drawing a short and not very good animation (1-2 seconds), but couldn't put it here. You can find it at [link]

This one is very simple. I drew silhouette of trees, add some lights and shadows (almost in a random manner). Then copied layer, mirror it and make it a little lighter. It was a background trees. You can do it not only once if you need many trees, you can move it left or right or as you want
Other plants I drew also quickly the same way - silhouette, adding simple shadow and light (light is where the leaf turned up, shadow where the leaf is turned down). You can also copy these layers so you will not need to draw every leaf

I use it very rarely, usually it could not make the right colours. So I use another layer with blending option "multiply" for shadows and "normal" layer with 10-30% opacity for light.
