Every Autumn I look forward to being able to photograph the annual Elk rut in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado as it is not only a photographers paradise but an amazing experience as well. On a cold and frosty Fall morning I was able to photograph this bull who was starting to just stir to start his day. Awakening on the frosty grass with the dawn sunlight illuminating the area, he made for a very worthy subject. It’s safe to say that this big boy is one of my favorite Elk photographs from this past Autumn.—-John.

Just an fyi, your pic was posted on tumblr with the watermark removed: taigas-den.tumblr.com/post/116… The original poster deactivated, but you can still contact tumblr to have them remove the image in all reblogs/etc, I'm sure. Sorry if you've been told this before.

Thanks! I went ahead and found the original source which back traces to DA and a certain person who is now mad at me lol Oh well, on them. I sent Tumblr a DMCA takedown and yup, done
