Instagram | TumblrSometimes I manage to squeeze a little sketching in at work of the daycare dogs. Here are a few pages of my favorites. They're all 15 - 30 second long drawings, ballpoint pen. Sometimes it amazes me how different they all look from one another - not just breed to breed, but as individual dogs. So much variety!
So here we have some miniature poodles, bichon-mixes, chiweenies, lab mixes, a havanese puppy, a cockapoodle, a hound mix, a vizsla, a pomeranian (with a lion clip), a russel terrier (mom is very particular that he's not a Jack russel) and a great pyrenees.

Thanks! When they come to daycare all the time, there's a really strong sense of them having different personalities and characters. I like trying to capture it.

It's a fun challenge, definitely! My situation gives me access to a variety of sleeping dogs, but I bet going to a dog park would provide the same variety.... just more action. xD

Whoa! That's shocking to me. I'm sorry for the ignorant question, but does everyone just walk on-leash, or let their dogs run around in regular parks?

It really sucks. I'd love to go to a dog park. Haha that's alright, im happy to educate. Well out on the streets people do but there are parks here where your dog is allowed off leash to run free just not in child friendly parks.
