Think about it, in his GOOD films (and games), he doesn't allow editing out drinking or smoking. Drinking mice and smoking cats in An American Tail, drinking & smoking dogs in All Dogs Go To Heaven... also I believe there's some drinking in Anastasia and Titan A.E.Related content

Damn straight, and his animations spoke for how good the films were, but sadly, they were... badly received. About the only REAL film he made that got ANY attention was Anastasia, and that was because it bespoke of the Princess tale.
Wasn't Don Bluth also responsible for The Swan Princess films? I forget the names of the films exactly, but I recall there being a set of the 'Swan Lake' rendition that was just too good to not have been Bluth's work.

Mr Bluth only made 10 films, 6 of those being good, and 2 minor things (Bartok, Banjo). He is currently teaching, and managing his own theater.

There is no drinking in Anastasia (well, Dimitri holds a cup of Champagne, but we don't see him drink 
in old movies, anything was permitted !

I only saw ADGTH when I was young. Other things that (I believe) helped me "mature quicker" were things like the 1989 Batman movie.
