Description
IMPORTANT:For the love of God, plz check out my original work! There isn't much (yet), but at least I worked on my actual drawings for more than 5 minutes!
Don Bluth was (and still is) one of the best animators, character designers and animation directors in the history of ever.
Okay, 4 of his films in the 90's were bad. He actually wanted his credit removed from one of them, he hated the final result so much.
But...
Banjo The Woodpile Cat
The Secret of N.I.M.H.
An American Tail
The Land Before Time
All Dogs Go To Heaven
Anastasia
Titan AE
... were great works of 4®†. Even Bartok The Magnificent was decent.
P.S. Since you really like this piece of crap so much, I updated it a little bit.

Don Bluth is a legend, and not one to be messed with. You don't want to see his death glare (which the people who made Secret Of NIMH II got before he did it on the Nostalgia Critic for bashing A Troll In Central Park).

This silly poster I did in 10 seconds is getting way more attention than it has the right to deserve.

I put most of these under "Guilty childhood pleasures" in my mind. LOL.
My sister and I HAD to watch all of these when they would come to VHS (Yes, we're that old) but nowadays we don't talk about how we used to listen to the library CD of the "Thumbelina" soundtrack like crazy or how we still have our old recording of "Banjo the Cat" somewhere in the house. Yet, I still won't dismiss these films from my mind completely like certain other animated films I will always regret seeing.
In short, Don Bluth is a guilty pleasure, but still a pleasure nonetheless. Heck, Secret of N.I.M.H. alone is a masterpiece!

His style is not even that original. He is just good at coming up with creative situations and character interactions.
If I ever get myself to do a drawing of Don and Gary, you'll see what I mean.

It doesn't change the fact that it's amazing. I thought he tried to bring back some of Disney's classic's style with his animation, but I could be wrong. I admit that many of his movies were unique in their story. I don't think I've ever seen a movie with a plot like Rock-a-Doodle's. I know it's not popular but it was definitely original.

Any Cartoons-of-Today Productions(Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Frederator Studios) should Look into Don Bluth for His Great Films of the 1980's, and Not Look into the Not-so-Bright Films of the 1990's(Early to Mid). It would be Nice If he was Guest Voice in one of the Cartoons of Today(Adventure Time, Regular Show, Gravity Falls, Bravest Warriors, etc.), It will be the First Time for him doing a Voice-Over for Animation Since "Space Ace". What do you Folks Think???

I'm so Sorry, When I Discovered That One(or More) Artist(s) that I feel Ashamed of Have Worked on Some "Bravest Warriors", I know I might Have to Take Action in Some Way. I Just feel Bad for Don, He was Really Out-Shining Disney in the 1980's, Until "The Little Mermaid" beat out "All Dogs go to Heaven", and His Studio "Sullivan Bluth Studios" was Really going Down Hill with Such Random Films in the 90's (It Probably Cut Their Budgets Short).
I hope I haven't Committed a Sin, which is PRIDE.

I'm not taking away from a talented artist, but I will give my point of view: He has no talent for story telling, particularly in the science fiction genre. What would have made him an innovator was if he could have brought in talent that were immersed in the genre, meaning, folks who were comfortable drafting in the concept of the genre.
That issue of conceptual design (shame on you, Mr. Bluth) and those stories that he commits himself is sheer agony.
I have no faith in the man.

There is no edit feature (odd) I would have made it more clearer. I wish Bluth, or for that matter, anyone going into the animation field, especially, here, in the US of A, could have in him or her to be bold, have heart.
Mr. Ralph Bakshi, discussed this very troubling issue on a panel discussion on YouTube. I wonder, if you have seen this?
