Sketchy pic of Simba and Nala. Was going to do a disney re draw of a screen shot of Simbas pride but changed my mind.

The sun was setting, colouring the sky with beautiful shades of purple. The golden king was sitting on the highest top of Priderock, calmly watching down at his past kingdom. Simba's grandson was guiding his pregnant mate to the cave.
"Feels like only yesterday that was us, doesn't it?" Soft voice behind Simba came closer with every light paw step. The light pelted lioness sat next to him.
"It certainly does Nala." Simba answered continuing: "I miss it, the youth, the fact that life was in front of us, ready for us to take it."
"Oh Simba, think of what we have achieved! We have beautiful children, lovely grandchildren, and a safe kingdom for them to live and rule. We'll always watch over them, guide them."
"Do you think Kion will return, or Tanabi, Kopa, Shani, Chaka and Timira? Will Nyota and his family return? Will..."
"Simba! They all will return. Pridelands are their home. Stop asking questions you don't need answers to." Nala said with a gentle smile on her face.
"I'm... I'm just worried, thats all. I think our time has arrived."
"Our time huh? I don't know about that. I'll live twice this long" Nala said with a smirk on her face.
"Don't you think it would be dangerous? Simba sayid amused, lifting his other eyebrow.
"Dangerous? Hah I laugh at the face of danger!"
Simba and Nala smiled at their cubhood memories.
Darkness surrounded the lands as the old couple laid down, resting their achy paws. They closed their eyes, ready to step to the stars together and join the Great Kings of the Past.

I dont know why, but I literally started crying while drawing this and writing the story.
