How do you size the picture?
Do you usually keep the size of your drawing the same as the size of the reference picture?

I just draw it off the monitor, the square is not really centered on the paper ^^

It looks so simple when you explain it like that haha! I myself find the first part the hardest, because I tend to just start drawing somewhere, and work from there; usely leading to a crooked image ..

Explain to me the different between Outlining a picture and copying(tracing)a picture,I really value your opinion and thanks for the Tutorial, it's really helpful

KLSADAKO In reply to Kavis15 [2009-04-14 03:04:14 +0000 UTC]
Outlining is when u draw it from eye-sight with measuring and griding..
Tracing is copying the outline from the image u want with ur drawing paper directly above the image, doesn't take much skill, and really doesn't impress me..
hope that helps ^^
oh and Aya Ueto is a Jpop singer and Actress ^^

love your style in shading...there are people shading using lines... thats so artistic(-ally weird) for me..
I use my hand to blend though... Its pain...

ooh no more using ur hand, it's oily and would add little patches on the paper
