It's okay. You're not being rude. It's kinda hard to explain, Alyssa... It's sorta like you're really good at stuff like analytical/engineering type stuff, but you're terrible at social interaction and communicating your feelings, because you have a brain that's totally different from everyone else's or from those who are neurotypical, and that also means you sense the world different from the way others do because your brain handles sensory input differently from the way neurotypicals do, which means that the things that upset you are different from what upsets neurotypicals, and then when you get upset, you don't really know how to handle that anxiety/stress/fear/anger/etc, depending on the severity of your case you might explode in to tantrum. It's something that I think is one of those things that is lacking in understanding in our society, even though it is extremely important that more people understand it, as the number of people born with Asperger's and other social learning challenges like it like Autism and PDD/NOS (which I have) continue to rise, and if more people understand it, then all sorts of misunderstandings and the fear and violence that is brought with it can be greatly reduced.
Hope this wasn't too long... :/
