The picture was right there in my head and had to get out.
I rather like it, the only thing that bothers me is that the scan really doesn't do it justice. I tried, but didn't manage to get a better scan, tried to adjust it with Photoshop, but...
The original still looks ten times better.Anyway, I had a lot of fun with this. I like how she seems to stand in the middle of a theater background. I like the lack of perspective. I like her puffy red hair.
The dress is somewhat similar to my L'oiseau picture, I just can't get enough of big pretty dresses!
And YAY!! Buttons!! It had been too long since I last drew buttons.

Actually, all the black outlines are made with the pigment liners, then the girl and brick wall are coloured with grey Pantone Tria markers, the red areas are made with red Indian ink, the background/sky is made with watercolours, the moons and stars with the acrylic white paint. I also forgot to mention in the description that I used colour pencils or the yellow buttons and her orange makeup, and black markers or the black part of the dress.

She's Beautiful, i love the swirly pattern on the cream parts of her dress, they remind me if the little scribbles i draw on the margins of my school books. For some reason i really love the brickwork... It just looks really cool

Well, yes, actually Indian ink exists in red, green and blue too, and probably other colours I don't know.
You'll find them in little bottles made to fill ink pens!
