Okay, so just one more, and then you'll have to be patient with me. Hopefully I won't take too long. For those of you familiar with FMA, you'll probably notice more differences as we continue with the story. I'm following the basic FMAB/manga plot, but making some tweaks to speed things up and makes things a little easier for me.
It's nice to not have to worry too much about spoilers. But I do get to dangle my tweaks in front of y'all. Who will play who? What elements are getting mixed in? What is Sans gonna sacrifice this time? You can probably figure it out here.

I like to remember than his eyes flash both cyan and yellow, not just cyan. I dunno why everyone forgets that. I do think his main trait would be patience, but the yellow is just as important.

Yeah, same! He does seem to be the more mellow patient type most of the time, but when he has to, he can sure dish out some JUSTICE!!

Oh definitely. He's one of those people that you don't want to get on their bad side. But you've really messed up if you manage to push him that far.
So I suddenly remembered that his eye doesn't actually flash the colors very much. Really only at the beginning and end of the fight. And out of what's an approximately 10 minute fight, that's really not very much. Not quite sure what to make of that detail though.

You know who I wouldn't want to get on my bad side? Papyrus! Now that would be terrifying! What ungodly sin must one do to get this sunshine on one's bad side, one must ponder.... or better not!
Anyway, my interpretation would be that Sans is simply displaying tranquil fury throughout most of the fight and only when he gets pumped up to start the fight and at the end when he realises he's run out of stamina and has (almost) run out of ideas does he go all I'm-slamming-you-against-all-the-walls-berserk on you. It's funny how most people (lol, even me) go all crazy with having his eye flash all the damn time for the tiniest reason. But I do think in the context of what's going on (Sans trying to save his brother from his own mistake) it fits fine that his eye(s???? why plural???? *mysterious noises*) would flash.

Oh, yeah, you'd have to be the scum of the earth to get on his bad side. He's soooo believing and kind that it would take some serious evil to break that.
Well, at the end it only flashes when you touch the walls and he recenters you. He's still normal when he's slamming you everywhere.
Artistically speaking, it just looks more visually interesting to have the eye flash. So I find that understandable. Though the fandom sure does forget how infrequently it happens.

It does flash the first few times he slams you against the walls (why do I have a near-encyclopedic knowledge of the Sans-fight when I haven't even done genocide run is beyond me) but yeah after that it quickly calms down and only does when he teleports your soul.

And apparently here comes Undertale, I didn't pay attention to the red in here, but after checking comments I noticed it. Is he going to patch up his soul by determination?
