Yeah, original FMA had them lose limbs. But I didn't want to just paste UT characters in FMA roles. I wanted to bend the story a bit to fit the characters' personalities and add some UT elements. Basic plot is the same, but some things will be pretty different. And when one thing changes, a bunch of other things need to change to fit it.
