Description

So I finally found time to open this up and work on it to find it was a pretty simple page. Mostly just the door and dialogue. But we're just a few pages away from some really fun stuff.
Last week was pretty exhausting. I was working more shifts than usual this week, and they don't really give me time before or after to really do anything. I also got a new computer and had to transfer files and reinstall all my programs and redo all my settings. Then my cousin's little boy passed away suddenly(he was a week away from being 2...there was a viewing instead of a birthday party. Don't know how it happened, he was perfectly healthy according to the autopsy. All we can think of is SIDS).
Anyway! My point is that a lot was going on and I didn't have time or energy for anything, which is why this took so long.

Yeah, it was really unexpected. It didn't really hit me until the viewing that it was real. And part of me still expects it to just be a bad dream.

Thanks ^^ I'm fine though, I'm mostly worried about his more immediate family. But I think they'll be okay. My cousin said she saw him in a dream and he told her his mission was finished and stuff like that, so I think they're taking comfort in that.

I'm doing fine. It was surreal, mostly. He just looked like a doll. My little sister took it pretty hard; she adored him and it was her first time going to a viewing.

It didn't really hurt until the viewing, cuz it just didn't feel real. And even then, it was really surreal. You just generally don't expect to see kids like that. But he did a lot of good while he was alive--my cousin didn't live the cleanest life before she had him. He probably saved her.

Yeah, she has good people around her though. I don't see her enough to be of much help, honestly. I trust her parents to be there for her every step of the way though. They've gone through quite a bit of loss too.
