Thank you for the suggestion and for the feature!Homework for my character design class, my assignment was to create a character that personifies a medium. Being that it's what I use the most, I chose digital. The drawing is, however, multi-medium, since I began with a pencil drawing (which had quite a few anatomical errors). I've studied Hyung-Tae Kim's work and his process, hoping to influence my "style" a bit more. I think it's time to journey a bit away from the "moe" style, especially from the responses my last project got.
The tablet pictured here is a Cintiq, however I actually painted this on my own Graphire 4 (we do have Cintiqs at my school, but I wanted to do this while watching Breaking Bad in my room... hehe).
The painting in the Cintiq screen is one I did a while back of Samus, which can be found here .
Original image was 11" x 17", 2B pencil on Bristol.
Painted in Photoshop CS5.

I like. It looks awesome. I love the lineart and colors. Also i like the lihht source in the drawing. Shadows are where there suppose to be.

You are mostly welcome! This artwork is simply amazing! I'm striving for more than 2 years to get a Cintiq by doing commissions. Seeing this gave me even more motivation to keep on saving although at times I have to give my mom part of the monies I earn, because at times we don't do so well with monies. You know, I'm a huge fan of Hyung-Tae's work, myself, and i did think of his art when i looked at the lower 1/2 of ur character (compliment). I like the overall, kind of, star-like feel of the composition.
